Australian National Maritime Museum - Darling Harbour Sydney

The ANMM aims to bring maritime heritage to life and preserve it for future generations.

Baltimore Maritime Museum The Mission of the Baltimore Maritime Museum is to preserve, exhibit and interpret the four National Historic Landmarks and associated artifacts for the purpose of public enrichment, education, historic preservation and historic research. The Museum also has the goal of supporting the heritage tourism, economic development and educational initiatives of the City of Baltimore and the State of Maryland.
Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum The Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum is a non-profit organization dedicated to furthering an understanding of the culture and history of the Chesapeake Bay. Since its founding in 1965, the Museum has grown through the support of volunteers, staff, and members.
Columbia River Maritime Museum The Columbia River Maritime Museum was founded in 1962 when Rolf Klep, a native of Astoria, returned to his birthplace after retirement as a successful graphic artist on the east coast. Upon returning, Klep (a long-time collector of marine artifacts) and a group of his colleagues sought to establish a museum to preserve the rich maritime heritage of the entire Columbia River region.
Los Angeles Maritime Museum - San Pedro CA The Los Angeles Maritime Museum creates an awareness and appreciation of the maritime history of coastal California, with an emphasis on the people and institutions of the port city of Los Angeles. The Museum is located in the 1941 Municipal Ferry Terminal, now on the National Register of Historic Places.

Queensland Maritime Museum The Queensland Maritime Museum was founded in 1971 and is run by a self-funded voluntary Association. It is situated on the banks of the Brisbane River at the southern end of South Bank Parklands. The Museum contains extensive collections of historical maritime artefacts, books, documents and photographs. The collection is displayed to the public in the galleries and grounds of the Museum under the broad headings of Navigation, Lighthouses, Ship Models, Marine Engines, Vessels, and the Dry Dock.

Santa Barbara Maritime Museum 'The museum's structure was formerly known as the Old Naval Reserve Center and was built by the Federal Government's Works Project Administration (WPA) program during the late 1930s through early 1940s. In 1942 the City of Santa Barbara sold the Naval Reserve Center for $1 to the Federal Government to support the war effort. The facility was then used as a U.S. Navy training facility from 1942 until 1995 when the U.S. Navy moved out of the building. Construction began on the Santa Barbara Maritime Museum after it was sold back to the City of Santa Barbara in 1999.'
